A villager reported to Tyachiv law enforcement officers that on November 24, around 09.00, near his house he had found a corpse of a 39-year-old resident of the same village with stab wounds.
Following the search operations, the police officers arrested on suspicion of committing the crime another 39-year-old resident of this village, who said that that night he had been drinking spirits with the deceased. As often happens in such cases, a quarrel arose between the men, which escalated into a fight. The man grabbed the knife and stabbed his pal in the chest.
From the resulting shock the victim fell to the floor and lost consciousness. But the attacker did not rushed to give him medical care, instead he pulled him out of the house to the street, where he left him to die.
During the search of the suspect’s house they found a kitchen knife with traces of blood and rubber slippers that belonged to the victim. The murderer was arrested. The investigation is underway.
