At the customs post "Tisa" 65 rounds of hunting weapons were seized from an Italian
On Saturday, November 10, at the customs post "Tisa" on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border Chop inspectors did not let an Italian citizen smuggle to Ukraine 65 rounds for hunting weapons without any permits from appropriate law enforcement authorities.Driving in a van to the city of Sevastopol on business, a 44-year-old Italian during customs clearance declared only personal belongings, including items of hunting dog trainers. While checking one of the suitcases, which was in the luggage compartment of the vehicle, customs officers found undeclared 40 rounds for hunting weapons "Beccaccia" and 25 rounds of "Foicchi" brand (made in Italy). As the foreigner explained, he did not check the content of the trainers' suitcases in Italy and therefore did not know that there was ammo there. So, for the violation of the established procedure of customs control and carrying 65 rounds, subject to a written declaration, a protocol under Art.472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine was written in respect of the Italian citizen. The found ammunition for hunting weapons was seized - informed Victoria Senhetovska, spokeswoman of the Chop customs.
