Uzhgorod ‘Goverla’ and ‘Metalurg’ (Zaporizhzhia) were officially accepted into the Premier League

Uzhgorod ‘Goverla’ (from now on this will be the official name of the team) and ‘Metalurg’ (Zhaporizhzhia) were officially accepted to the UPL participating clubs.

Uzhgorod club successfully passed the certification and received a certificate for the right to participate in the UPL championship in the 2012/2013 season. After the previous season sports results approval on June 1 at the Premier League General Meeting ‘Goverla’ was accepted to their numbers.

‘The requirements for clubs participating in the competition regarding the infrastructure, financial provision and other sports, normative and logistical criteria have greatly increased. As for the stadium, the important thing for us now is to bring to the order tribune’s premises, stands and the wall facade. Also to connect the illumination’ as the General Director FC ‘Goverla’ Ivan Shits noted in the telephone comversation.

Meanwhile, the ‘Goverla’ team went on vacation, which will last until June 17, for the next day after the match with ‘Krymteplytsia’. On this day, the players will gather in Uzhgorod where the first weekly training stage will be held after the medical examination.

The team will depart for two weeks so-called ‘International Gathering’ on June 25. Several options for its implementation are considered nowadays, as noted the coach O. Sevidov.

Then ‘Goverla’ will return to Uzhgorod, where will continue its preparation to the visiting match with Odessa ‘Chornomorets’ team.
