Transcarpathian rescuers evacuated 22 tourists from ski lift

On June 9 at 12:15 p.m. Transcarpathian search and rescue unit workers of the emergency-rescue squad of a special purpose were informed that the chair lift at Mount Krasiya, near the village of Kostryno in Velikiy Berezny district, stopped working.

At that time, 22 people ended up aloft.

In a few minutes six Vyshkovo mountain rescuers arrived at the scene and with the help of special equipment organized the descent of the victims.

The reason of the lift stop is being identified.

There were no injured, so none of the tourists needed medical care, - said TM MES in Transcarpathian region.
