Transcarpathia will cooperate with the Khanty-Mansiisk Autonomous Region in the tourism sphere

On Monday, June 25, the interim head of RSA Ivan Bushko met with the Director General of the Regional Exhibition Centre ‘Yuhorski contracts’ Alla Pavkina and the Governor’s advisor of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region - Yugra - Andrii Pavkin. The meeting was also attended by a deputy head of the region Volodymyr Prykhodko – informs the press-center of RSA.

The signing of the joint agreement between the Transcarpathian region and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region - Yugra in the trade-economic and cultural spheres was discussed during the meeting. The signing of the document by the leaders of both regions is expected in the nearest future.

The General Director of the Regional exhibition center ‘Yuhorski contracts’ Alla Pavkina suggested to introduce tourism opportunities of Transcarpathian region on the powerful international exhibition which is held in Khanty-Mansiysk.

- We are not for the first time visiting Transcarpathia and we convinced on our own experience that to have a rest and improve our health in this region is possible on the highest level. Therefore, we invite experts to present and promote Transcarpathian tourism for Russia.

- The Transcarpathian region is undoubtedly interested in cooperation with Russia in the tourism sphere. We have a lot to offer. We will be glad to cooperate with Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region and see in our region Russian tourists - said Ivan Bushko.

In their turn, the representatives of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region received an invitation from the Transcarpathian leaders to participate in the International Exhibition ‘Tur’yevrotsentr Zakarpattia 2012’ which will be held on September 14-15 in Uzhgorod.
