Entering Campaign 2012 in Ukraine starts in early July. Compared to the last year, the number of young people wanting to refill the students’ rows will increase substantially. If in 2011, 194,000 graduates registered for the independent testing, in 2012 there have been 260 000.

According to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the largest state order, just as last year, was received by the National Technical University "KPI" - 4255 budget places. On the second place is Shevchenko Kyiv National University, who in 2012 will provide free studies for 2533 people.

The last of the three leaders is the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". This year, the university will accept 2384 entrants who will study for the money from the state budget.

There have been changes in the top 10 universities, which are explained by the increase of the volume of technical professionals training by the Ministry of Education. The number of budget places for Bachelors in IT has increased by 23.4%.

The volume of orders in such areas as electronics, energy and power engineering, radio engineering, metallurgy and materials science, mechanic engineering and metalworking, chemical technology and engineering, aviation and rocket engineering, Informatics and Cybernetics, transport and transport infrastructure has significantly increased.

We remind that according to the decision of the Cabinet, 79 thousand young specialists, 127.2 thousand Bachelors and 74 thousand professionals will have their education paid by the state budget in 2012.

According to the relevant ministry’s data, in 2012 the government order for bachelors has been increased by 21.5%. This is primarily due to the increase in the number of entrants.
