Russia triumphantly defeated the Czech Republic at Euro 2012 (video)

Russian national team topped Group A after the first round. Dick Advocat’s players defeated the Czechs 4-1.

The Russian national team in their first match at Euro 2012 won a landslide victory over the Czech team.
The Czechs started the match rather actively, with the first few seconds they led and earned several corners and a penalty.
However, Russians managed to quickly seize the initiative. In the 15th minute, the fast attack of the Russian national team ended in scoring a goal by a Moscow CSKA midfielder Alan Dzagoev - 1:0.

After 9 minutes the player of Russian St. Petersburg "Zenith" Roman Shirokov doubled the advantage after Andrei Arshavin’s hand-off.
At the beginning of the second half, Vaclav Pilarzh scored back one goal, but then again, the Russians took the initiative in their hands.
In the 78th minute, Alan Dzagoev shot the Czech with a powerful 15-metres hit, having resumed a two-goal advantage. In the 80th minute Roman Pavlyuchenko, having beautifully hit a ball from a defender, sets a final score in the match - 4:1.
We remind that in the other match of group A, a Polish team didn’t manage to beat Greeks in Warsaw. The match ended in a draw 1-1.
