Euro 2012: Croatia confidently outplayed the Ireland team and took the lead in the group (VIDEO)
The national Croatia team managed to come out on the top of the Group C after the victory over the Ireland with the score 3:1. The Croats had an undeniable advantage over the famous Giovanni Trapattoni’s team.
The national Ireland team gave way to Croatia with the score 1:3 during the second match of Group C within the Euro 2012. ‘Wolfsburg’ attacker Mario Mandzhukich headed the ball into the net already on the third minute – Irish goal keeper Shei Given ‘overslept’ the moment of hit.
Irish team managed to revenge after 15 minutes – the ‘Lester City’ defender Sean Sent-Ledger was marked after the standard drawing. Croatians managed to get out ahead at the end of the half when Nikitsu Elavich was brought face to face with Given.
The third ball flew into the net after the Madzhukin’s hitting by the head at the beginning of the second half. The ball got into the net from the back of Given’s head and flew into the goal.
