Czech guests are getting acquainted with the state of the joint projects’ implementation

The land of Vysochyna delegation from the Czech Republic, headed by a regional government head, a charitable fund ‘ViZa’ head Zdenek Kadlets arrived with an official visit to the Transcarpathia on Wednesday. A deputy Mayor of the town of Yihlava Petr Pospikhal, a rector of Higher Technical School of Yihlava town Yakub Novotny and a deputy head of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of this establishment Makhail Vopalensky also arrived with Zdened Kadlets, - informs the Regional Council press service.

The delegation members have already participated in the conference ‘Regional and Local Management: Ukrainian and International Experience’, which was organized by Regional Council and Uzhgorod National University as a part of this year’s cooperation program between the Transcarpathian region and the land of Vysochyna, met scientists of UzhNU, members of the Czech Culture Organization in Uzhgorod, attended Mukachevo firm ‘Fisher’ and carried out an inspection trip on the facilities of Svaliava and Vynogradiv distrits, on which the joint investment projects are implemented.

There was also held a meeting of delegation members with a regional council head Ivan Baloga, during which was discussed the implementation of this year’s cooperation program and some suggestions of collaboration for the next year.

Today the Czech guests arrive to Rakhiv district where they get acquainted with the progress of Carpathian Biosphere Reserve joint project, visit the village of Lazeshyn secondary school, the center of social care in the village of Bogdan and meet with the district leadership.
