Another group of illegal immigrants detained by border guards

At dawn on June 6, at the border check point "Onokovtsy" of the Border Service "Uzhgorod" Division, another group of illegal immigrants was detained, this time representatives of the former Soviet Union.

A border squad discovered an attempt to get through the fence by two unknown persons, so they reported on this to the subunit and continued observation. Arrest took place with the arrival of the operational group. The offenders, as in most cases, had no identifying documents.

The detainees explained that they were citizens of the Republic of Moldova and were on their way to Slovakia in search of better living conditions within the European Union.

The detainees will be identified later and the decision of their liability and the court will determine their fate - the press service of Chop border detachment informs.
