Wage arrear in Ukraine is close to a billion

The highest level of debt (over 100 million) as of August 1 is recorded in Donetsk region, and the lowest one - in Chernivtsi region.

Arrears of wages in Ukraine in July 2012 increased by 2.5% and reached 986.04 million UAH. This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

Rising debt is recorded in 10 regions and in Kyiv and Sevastopol. Accordingly, debt reduction was observed in 14 regions and Crimea.

In particular, the highest level of debt (over 100 million) as of July 1 is recorded in Donetsk - 179,419,000 UAH (in June decreased by 13.5%, since the beginning of the year - by 10.4%, compared with July 1, 2011 - decreased by 21.6%) and Kharkiv region - 100,035,000 UAH (in June decreased by 15.2%, since the beginning of the year increased by 11.1%, compared to July 1, 2011 decreased by 25.2%).

Wage arrears in Kiev as of July 1, 2012 was 76,422,000 UAH (in June increased by 1.7%, since the beginning of the year - by 5.4%. compared to July 1, 2011 - decreased by 33.3%) .

The high level of debt is also recorded in Lugansk - 77,239,000 UAH (in June decreased by 2.7%, since the beginning of the year - by 16.9%, compared with July 1, 2011 - decreased by 24.2%) and Lviv regions - 61,886,000 USD (in June increased by 0.7%, since the beginning of the year - by 9.4%, compared to July 1, 2011 decreased by 2.7%).

The lowest level of wage arrears as of July 1 in recorded in the Chernivtsi region - 153,000 UAH (in June fell by 17.3%, since the beginning of the year - by 34.2%, compared with July 1, 2011 - decreased by 10 times), Rivne - 2,353,000 UAH (in June total debt decreased by 4.5%, since the beginning of the year - by 5.5%. compared to July 1, 2011 - reduced by 10%) and Kiev regions - 3.29 million (in June fell by 21.2 %, since the beginning of the year - by 3.2 times, compared with July 1, 2011 - fell 6 times).

According to the State Statistics Service, real wages in Ukraine in July 2012 increased by 1.3% in comparison with June 2012 and by 14.6% - in comparison with July 2011.
