This year's "My Native Land" has many innovations in store
The 14th International Festival of TV and radio programs for national minorities "My native land" will be held in Uzhgorod, - said the Deputy Director of the programs directorate Tatiana Vasharheli at today's press conference in press-centre "Zakarpattya" .
The 14-th festival has a number of special features. First of all, this year all the interested participants may not only watch the programs and movies, but also in take part in their discussion. Another feature of the festival - accessibility and clarity, because now all the films are dubed or titled in other languages.
Another innovation of this year' festival is that the jury now works directly during the competition while in the past they started to work three days before the festival.
Besides Ukraine, the competitors from Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Macedonia, Serbia and Russia will represent their works.
According to festival managers, the event will run from August 30 to September 1. By the way, the entrance to the event is free.
