Schoolchildren now will be questioned about alcohol and drugs

Since this year, the Ministry of Health introduced the examination of pupils for early detection of alcohol and drug problems.

This was announced today at a press conference at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine by the head of the Maternity and Childhood Protection and Sanatorium Service Administration Olena Tereshchenko. 

"From this year in Ukraine a new check is introduced to the routine inspection of schoolchildren - the use of alcohol and drugs. For the purpose of early detection of risk factors of these problems with children, a form of primary documents and instructions for completing it has been adopted. Also tentative list of questions has been approved," - said O.Tereschenko.
