Rizak returned: governor Ledyda harbored his odious predecessor?

Ex-head of Transcarpathia has been looking for a job in Uzhgorod already for two weeks. With the help in employment Ivan Rizak turned to current chairman of RSA. He did not refuse to help.

It is said that either the Ivan Rizak or his brother Vasyl Professor of Uzhgorod National University, wrote an official letter of request addressed to the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda asking for help in employment of ex-Governor’s wife on the previous place of employment at Uzhgorod National University. She had been working at a Chemical Faculty until 2005.

This information was partially confirmed by a new pro rector of Uzhgorod National University on scientific and pedagogical work and prospects of development Roman Ofitsynskyi: ‘I have heard about it (the probability of employment of Ivan Rizak’s wife). The fact is that the teaching staff gets a job on August 25, then the hours are divided and staff is arranged on the departments, etc. By this time, only technical personnel can get work’.

Moreover, UzhNU is actively discussing the possibility of Ivan Rizak’s employment at the university. It was said that such an option was proposed by ex-governor of current Governor Olexander Ledyda, assuring that the new rector of Uzhgorod National University Vitaliy Nikolaichuk would not be against it. But Rizak allegedly refused. It is hard to say what kind of job wants to find scandalous politician before elections.

We remind you that Ivan Rizak was arrested in May 2005. In September of the same year politician was released on bail, and in July 2007 Ivano-Frankivsk Court of Appeal sentenced him five years of probation with a delay in one year. The reasons are obstruction of electoral law, mass rallies and abuse of power.

On April 19, 2012 the Supreme Court overturned a previous Rizak’s verdict and sent his case at additional investigation.
