Pregnant and sick immigrant woman was abandoned by the guides in the woods

Seven Afghan citizens were detained on Saturday by Chop border guards in the area of ​​"Novoselytsia" in Transcarpathia.

Border guards discovered and stopped the offenders in 15 meters from the boundary. Among those detained were two adults, four teenagers and a child of 2 years. Moreover, it turned out that the woman was seven months pregnant, and when she became ill and could not walk, the guides who had taken her to the border, left them in the woods and disappeared. The pregnant woman was taken to hospital, where she was provided with medical assistance.

Afghan detainees were taken to the department to clarify the circumstances of the violation and to identify persons involved in the offense - informs State Border Service of Ukraine.
