High-ranking officials involved into the case with "Central-Start"?

Depositors of the credit union "Central-Start" are still hoping to get their money back though these hopes are constantly fading. The smallest amount of money lost by Transcarpathians, is 1,500 UAH, the biggest - 700,000.

Fifteen persons did not live to see their money and died for the period of investigation. Today, August 22, the scandalous trial of the Credit Union "Central-Start" shall be either sent back to court of original jurisdiction or for additional investigation.

This information was provided by the representatives of supervisory board and initiative group of "Central-Start" depositors in press center "Zakarpattya".  They argue that already more than three years passed but the prosecutors and investigators deliberately delay the case.
Supervisory board of "Central-Start" conducted its own investigation and found out that at least 8 more people were involved into the crime.Information (names, positions, contacts) were submitted for the investigation. However, so far none of them have been called in for questioning.  Moreover, according to the investors, investigators did not even learn the provided documentation.

Regional credit union "Central-Start" was added to the State register in May 2001.It was located in the building of regional council of trade unions, near the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. It was headed by Marianna Dzhanda, a doctor by profession.
"Central-Start" had almost 700 investors, and the total amount of their deposits was over 28 million UAH. By the order of State Commission on Financial Services Market Regulation in Ukraine, since May 27 this year the Transcarpathian regional credit union "Central-Start" was removed from the State Register of financial institutions.
