The 20th Anniversary Season of all-Ukrainian environmental and educational expedition camp "Oikos" started in Transcarpathia. The expedition will last 22 days and will have two stages – on land and on water. Young naturalists and teachers from Lugansk, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Transcarpathian regions and guests from Canada gathered in Rakhiv, where the expedition is going to start. In total there are 32 participants. Another six young conservationists from the Odessa environmental center will join during the water stage - the regional studies eco-tour on rubber catamarans.
Grand opening of the jubilee camp was held in the central manor of Transcarpathian Biosphere Reserve, located in Rakhiv. Also, "Oikos" members have visited the famous center of Europe and the Visit centre, Tribushanske Forestry and a trout farm. Extreme climbing on Hoverla, paths in the beech forests, karst caves, the lake Sinevir, "Daffodil Valley" and Chorna (Black) Mountain in Vynohradiv district are still waiting for them.
