The celebration of the village of Horinchovo Day in Khust district turned into the real folklore competitions. Guests of the village listened to the tales in the performance of Khust writer Ivan Vurst and watched amateur performance about the poor man and his wife.
Olena Konopatska, a head of the village, said that this year they restored the tradition of folklore competitions that were established 20 years ago. The festival gathered guests from all over Khust district. There were such artists as Ivan Popovich, Ivan Pylypets and ‘Svizha kopiika’.
The Festival of fairy tales is dedicated to well-known authors from the village of Horinchevo, and especially to Andrei Kalin, who granted to us up to 120 original Carpathian stories.
