Alexander Ledyda: ‘The government supports foreign investors’

On Wednesday, July 18, a Head of Regional State Administration Alexander Ledyda met with a Regional Director General of ‘Flextronics-Ukraine’ Uri Porat, a director of corporate property ‘Flextronics’ Piter Clark and a Director General of the factory in Mukachevo Taras Petryna.

The Head of the region Alexander Ledyda welcomed guests and expressed his hope that the enterprise on the territory of Transcarpathia will pick up at production with each passing year:

- There are many transnational companies in Transcarpathia. Transcarpathia has probably earned a good rating on the territory of Ukraine thanks to this. Therefore power is always opened for cooperation and will support initiatives that will promote the development of the region.

The Regional Director General of ‘Flextronics-Ukraine’ Uri Porat, in his turn told about the work on the plant in Mukachevo.

- Recently, we tested the first production line at Mukachevo plant. It will start working in the autumn. ‘Flextronics’ occupies the second position for the production of electronics in the world. The corporation has 130 plants, 220 000 employees all over the world but I can assure you that it is the plant in Mukachevo which will be the most high-tech in the entire corporation of ‘Flextronics’.

The representatives of ‘Flextronics’ plan to open the factory in Mukachevo already in September - informs the RSA press center.
