On Wednesday, December 26, in Uzhgorod Sport Complex "Yunist", a mini-football tournament took place. Teams of the regional and district heads, Uzhgorod city council, law enforcement and regulatory authorities, representatives of the Football Federation of Transcarpathia competed.
In the first match the team of regional and district officials played against law enforcement officers. The match turned out to be rich in goals. With the score 4-2, the regional administration team gained the victory and the right to compete for gold medals.
In the second match the refional Football Federation were the best. Therefore, in the match for the third place teams of law enforcement and regulatory authorities and Uzhgorod City Council played.
Bronze medals went to Uzhgorod deputies. Teams of the regional administration and the Football Federation of the region competed for gold medals. The match was intense and exciting. Only in the last minutes of the game representatives of the Federation managed to snatch the victory from the team of regional and district heads – 3:2.
After the match, Oleksandr Ledyda awarded participants of the competition with cups and medals. The best player of the tournament was the player for the team of the regional and district heads Ivan Kachur – informed the press center of RSA.
