The deputy from the "Svoboda" party Valeriy Chernyak does not link the incident with his deputy's or professional activity - informed the press service of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Volyn region.
December 24, 2012, resident of the city of Kovel, born in 1966, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 7th convocation from "Svoboda" party, reported that at 14:30 an unidentified person on Hlushets street in Lutsk made a shot with an unknown weapon at his car "Mitsubishi-Lancer". As a result the right front door glass has been damaged. According to preliminary data, the attacker shot with an airgun.
The victim immediately turned to the hospital. After examining physicians did not hospitalize him, since the received injuries were minor.
The deputy arrived at the investigation department of the Office of the Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Volyn region to give testimony. It should be noted that the victim does not think that this incident is related to his deputy's or professional activity.
The criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine have been instituted. Preliminary investigations are being conducted over this fact. The police have identified the number of persons that may be involved in the crime.
