The prosecutor’s office officially commented on the situation with the exhumation of the body of Ivan Rizak’s son

The representative of the Transcarpathian regional prosecutor in charge of this criminal proceeding Illya Ilchuk provided his explanation.
"I have granted the motion of Oleksiy Rizak’s father about the re-examination of the exhumated corpse. We have delivered the body to the morgue, now the commission forensic examination is being conducted", – he said.
"Based on the motion of Rizak we reclassified the offense from Article 120 (part 1) "Driving to suicide" to the part 1 of Article 115, which includes responsibility for the murder – said the expert. – There was the initial examination, which established the cause of Oleksiy Rizak’s death. The cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries of the head, trunk, and extremities. Rupture of the internal tissue of the heart. It all has been done, but his father doubted the objectivity of forensic experts, and suspected that they had hidden a crime – murder. Therefore the case has been reclassified from Article 120 to Article 115 and this investigative action (exhumation, ed.) has been conducted".
The initial examination was conducted by specialists of the Uzhgorod interdistrict branch of the Transcarpathian regional office of forensic experts, and now the examination is conducted by the commission of five experts of the regional office.
