The Day of the Police was celebrated in Transcarpathia

Today, policemen of Transcarpathia solemnly celebrated their professional holiday - the Day of the Police. 
Policemen were congradulated by representatives of regional authorities - the council chairman Ivan Baloha and the head of the RSA Oleksandr Ledyda.
In his opening remarks, the Chief of the police in the Transcarpathian region Vasyl Vartsaba said that without the support of the public and colleagues in law enforcement Transcarpathian police would have not achieved the current results.    
The head of the regional administration Oleksandr Ledyda noted the responsibility of the law enforcement professionals and wished them to continue ensuring protection of the interests of the State and the legitimate rights of its citizens.
    The Regional Council Chairman Ivan Baloha addressed to officers and veterans of law enforcement agencies of our region with a complimentary speech. He warmly congratulated the police officers on their professional holiday and wished them good health, family welfare and all human blessings.     
    The chairman of the regional council presented honorary awards and gifts to the best law enforcement officers, who had been granted the decorations for professional excellence, conscientious duty, exemplary discipline, significant contribution to the fight against crime, protection of rights and freedoms, and on occasion of the professional holiday - informed the press service of the regional council.
