The Cabinet has approved a draft law on higher education

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft law on higher education, developed by the working group led by the rector of the KPI Mykhailo Zhurovsky.

This was infromed to journalists by the Acting Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Tihipko, wrote the "Ukrainski Novyny".

"Today at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers we have adopted the Law on Higher Education" – he said.

Tihipko said that the bill was approved on condition of his revision by the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As you know, November 5 the Cabinet at its meeting decided to have the bill finalized by Tihipko together with Ministers of Justice, Economy and Finance.

The President Viktor Yanukovych stressed the inacceptability of the delay in the adoption of this law.
