In Transcarpathia, the CBC International Information Centre will be created

This was announced on Thursday, December 27, during a meeting with the head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda by the head of the Institute of CBC Serhiy Ustych.
At the beginning of the meeting Serhiy Ustych gave Oleksandr Ledyda a prestigious European award - the region was distinguished for special contribution to European cross-border cooperation. Also the scholar gave the head fo the region publications of the Institute.   
Also Serhiy Ustych said: the Institute of CBC won a grant for a project to create the International Center for CBC, the first in eastern Europe. The construction of the institution will be financed by the European Union - about 500,000 euros is provided for this purpose. 
- Of course, the government will facilitate the implementation of such projects. After all Transcarpathia has not been randomly chosen among all the border regions of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania - we have always been an example of tolerance and prudence. 
I am sure, it will only improve the image of our border area among European partners - emphasized the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda.
In total, Transcarpathia has already received more than 20 million euros through various programs and projects of cross-border cooperation - informed the press center of the RSA.
