Every fourth in the top 100 of the richest Ukrainians is the native of Donbas
The Correspondent has compiled the "Golden Hundred" of Ukrainian "nouveau riches".
The first position for seven years has been held by Rinat Akhmetov. The second is Igor Kolomoisky with a wide margin. The third position is occupied by Vadim Novinsky who changed Russian citizenship to Ukrainian in May. Kolomoisky's partner, Gennady Bogolyubov is in the fourth place. The 5th place is shared by 95 participants, who have approximately equal incomes.
Son of the President, Oleksandr within the year rose from the 70th to the 61st place in the ranking of the richest in Ukraine.
According to the publication, almost one in four in the "golden hundred" comes from the city of Donetsk and Donetsk region. The region provides 25% of the country's richest people, while less than 10% of the population live there.
