Clergy rises to fight the law

The majority of the clergy and of some NGOs believe that the provisions of the Law "On the Unified state register of population", adopted on October 2 by the Parliament, are contrary to the Convention on the protection of individuals with regard to automatic processing of personal data, the EU Directive 95/46 on the indication of the purpose of collection of personal data, violate the right to privacy, creating the danger of total control over the individual.

On Monday, December 3 at the press center "Transcarpathia" they will tell about the danger of the law, and how they are going to fight against its introduction. In addition, during the event the opposite point of view will also be covered.
