Vasiliy Kruchanitsa: People need a good medical care, not the property of clinics

Today, April 6, members of the Uzhgorod city council at the session meeting supported their colleagues from the Unitary Center, who insisted that the second floor of the city polyclinics № 2 on the Paris Commune street is inappropriate for use by the citizens of Uzhgorod district. uzhgorod.in asked the chairman of the parliamentary faction of a Unitary Centre, the head physician of the Transcarpathian Regional Narcological Dispensary Vasiliy Kruchanitsa to make a detailed comment on the situation.
– Members of our faction, among which there are many physicians, said Vasiliy Vasilievych – studied the issue in great detail. And we are convinced that now, to pass clinic’s property just like this is absolutely inappropriate. After all, the main goal is to give people of Uzhgorod district a proper, qualified medical and clinic help of  a high quality.
The reorganization of the health care system in Uzhgorod and neighborhood in order to create the possibility for the residents to receive quality medical care, is actively developing. A working group is activated, and before the end of the year there should be established a local city and district medical association. Therefore the citizens of Uzhgorod and residents of the district will also be able to enjoy all the features of inpatient hospitals, and both clinics № 1 and № 2.
In my opinion, it is necessary to hold a joint meeting of district and municipal councils and decide together all aspects of this issue. For this reason talking about a simple transfer of property is just a substitution of notions. Do not be achieved the main goal – ensuring access of Uzhgorod people to a decent treatment – will not be achieved.
