Ukraine was suggested to introduce a tax on health
The Ukrainian Parliament registered a bill "On Compulsory State Health Insurance" which was published on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada, reports Ukrinform .
The project involves three levels of health insurance: solidary, accumulative of general effect, non-governmental voluntary.
The first level will be covered by insurers, i.e. the employers. The second level will be covered mostly by insured persons. Any failure to comply with financial obligations entails further liability.
Although the news agency considers that early adoption of the bill should not be expected, but its approval in the current version would impose additional tangible financial burden on employers and employees.
