Ukraine got into top 25 countries with the highest standard of higher education

A new study by the scientists from the University of Melbourne names the countries which provide the best higher education. The experts have compared the educational systems in 48 countries on more than 20 criteria, including public investments in higher education, training of experts needed by a country, liaison with universities abroad etc.

The top five was hit by such countries as the USA, Sweden, Canada, Finland and Denmark. The USA dominates the world not only by the size of investment in education, but also by a number of published scientific articles.

Professor Ross Williams of the University of Melbourne emphasizes that "in the context of globalization a strong higher education system is required by any country that wants to be economically competitive", the report says.
