Transcarpathian journalists will be trained how to write about refugees

A round table discussion – trainings for Transcarpathian journalists will be held in Uzhgorod on June 19. The main theme is highlighting of refugees problems and asylum seekers in Ukraine and Transcarpathia in particular.

In the meeting with journalists will participate:

Armen Edgarian, the Regional Office advisor of the UN High Commissioner Refugee Agency in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine;

Igor Mykhailyshyn, a head of the Regional State Migration Service in Transcarpathia;

Mykola Tovt, a head of the Refugees Directorate of State Migration Service in Transcarpathia;

Olexandra Makovska, the Public Information adviser of the UN High Commissioner Refugee Agency in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine;

Svitlana Tuchynska, Kyiv Post journalist.

The event will be held in the concert hall of ‘Ungvarskyi’ hotel in Uzhgorod, Electrozavodska Street, 2.
