The press conference of the regional public figures who filed the lawsuit against the Transcarpathian Regional Council for the decision of 360 hydropower station construction on the region territory will be held in Uzhgorod Press Club on Thursday, April 26 at 2 p.m.
The journalists will be met by:
Oleg Luksha, the member of the Forum Presidium of Environmental Rescue of Transcarpathia, director of the international Institute of Human and Globalistics ‘Noosfera’;
Oksana Stankevich, co-forum of Environmental Rescue of Transcarpathia, the president of ‘Ekosfera’;
Vladimir Feskov, the member of the Forum Presidium of Environmental Rescue of Transcarpathia, co-coordinator of Transcarpathian community center.
The speakers will elucidate their position according to which the decision № 310 ‘On approval of the local and regional layouts of small hydroelectric power stations’ was adopted with flagrant disregard for the current legislation of Ukraine and will explain why it should be cancelled.
