The perturbation takes place in Uzhgorod schools, education complexes and kindergartens

Today, April 18, during a meeting of the Executive Committee of Uzhgorod City Council it was decided to reorganize one of the ‘strongest’ schools of the regional center – educational complex.
Traditions of this institution should be changed in order to increase the number of places in pre-school groups, besides there is a particular request to the ATEC staff, as Mayor of Uzhgorod Viktor Pogorelov explained.
Therefore the separation of ATEC into the secondary specialized school of I-III levels № 2 with the profound study of certain subjects and pre-school institution № 36, in which it will be possible to open three additional pre-school groups is coming soon.
The same decision of the executive committee members was taken concerning TEC ‘Dzvinochok’. In connection with increasing number of preschool age children in the city, the Education Department must reorganize the specialized ETC ‘Dzvinichok’ with the profound study of foreign language into pre-school institution № 8 ‘Dzvinochok’ till September 1, 2012. Children who were studying in two junior classes will move to secondary school number №12 beginning from the next academic year.
