The price of cocoa on the world markets has reached its peak. The risk of the harvest infection in Cote d'Ivoire, the world's largest producer, promotes speculation of the exchange trading participants and leads to the growth of quotations of cocoa.
Coffee is not immune from the rise in price either. Constant rains in most regions of the Republic of Ivory Coast, makes traders anxious. Precipitation may affect the regularity of supply and threatens with the decline in the quality of grains.
The price of sugar isn’t stable either. According to UBR, raw sugar for October delivery has increased in price by 1.5%, to 20.23 cents for a pound on the New York Stock Exchange. According to the publication, this is the largest price increase for the week.
