New communication technologies were discussed at the meeting of regional branch of UCA

The specialized workshop on the theme of communication technologies for the partnership development was held in Mukachevo in the framework of Transcarpathian regional center of the city association of Ukraine yesterday, April 25.

Its issue was defined as ‘Information and communication system ‘Parliament of Cross Border Cooperation’ for the search of the partners and projects opportunities.’ The meeting was attended by the members of the regional center of the UCA, Mayors of Transcarpathian cities, in particular, the Mayor of Uzhgorod Viktor Pogorelov, representatives of regional local governments, the developers of information and communication system ‘SVS-Parliament’ experts and others. The Vice-President of the executive work UCA Miroslav Pitsyk attended the meeting too (on the photo together with Mayor of Uzhgorod Viktor Pogorelov).

It was about the development of the Cross Border Cooperation projects, the new communication technologies aimed at projects for community development. Also, the participants presented the project ‘The virtual place. Geolocational solutions for municipalities by means of Google Earth’, which aim is to present adequately the city in the virtual space – informs the press service of Uzhgorod City Council. The new communication technologies which were mentioned at the meeting should give the real results for community development, because realistic goals are planned for the projects implementation and international cooperation in particular.
