Mukachevo celebrated with musicians and chardash (PHOTOS)

Mukachevo finished a week of celebration of the 1118-th anniversary of the first written reference of the city with a holiday concert. The evening was opened by the mayor of the city. According to Zoltan Lengyel, Mukachevo citizens have inherited from their ancestors a unique symbiosis of cultures and traditions, which are now living in every family and are being professionally kept and restored by cultural workers. Therefore, the mayor presented certificates and gifts to artists for their achievements in the creative bay. The guest of the concert, head of the regional cultural and methodological center Myroslav Petiy, expressed gratitude and handed to the artists the awards from the department of culture of Regional State Administration.  After the formal greetings, the best creative teams of the city performed on the stage of the recreation centre: the famous "Rusnaks", a Boys Choir of the Choir City School, Chamber Women’s Choir of the Art School № 2, folk pop groups, vocal duets, famous solo artists and a dance ensemble. The latter were dancing German folk, Romanian, Hungarian and Ukrainian dances, there were a lot of author’s show-ballets dances. During the three-hour concert 35 ensembles performed for the audience. By the way, in such creative reports, some of them were able to confirm their titles of "national" or "exemplary."
