The Mukachevo border guard squad organized the pompous celebration – the military orchestra performance, festive program and lots of VIP people in the House of Culture concert hall over Latorytsia today.
The controlling and cooperating bodies city leaders were invited on the Day of Frontier Guard celebration. Among the honored guests were the City Mayor Zoltan Lendiel, the Mukachevo District State Administration first deputy head Vasyl Pashkuliak, the city Prosecutor Ruslan Bolovar, the head of the Mukachevo Ministry of Internal Affairs Vasyl Shvenda and others. Everyone congratulated the border state guards.
Such holiday is the perfect occasion to mention all those who have demonstrated the high service results, said the head of Mukachevo border squad Yurii Filipchuk. Therefore, the best border guards were awarded with diplomas and gifts. The senior warrant officer Bogdan Zelenskyi was awarded with a medal ‘for courage in protection the state border of Ukraine’. The veterans were noted on the ceremony, and paid tribute to the border guards’ assistants – war dogs.
The Mukachevo City House of Culture choreographic and vocal bands put fighters in a good mood.
