Mother’s Day celebration in the Slovak language was held in ‘PADIUN’

The Slovakia Consul General in Uzhgorod Marian Mulik together with the ‘PADIUN’ pupils congratulated all the Uzhgorod mothers with the holiday.

 The Slovak group pupils, that operates in ‘PADIUN’ celebrates Mother’s Day on the second Sunday, the second consecutive year. Young linguists congratulated their mothers the dearest people in the world with songs, poems, music and performances. More than two dozen children aged from 5 to 14 years participated in this event, all of them are studying the Slovak language and traditions of the neighboring country. The hosts of the celebration became two girls who in the near future will become the students of the Philological Faculty of the Slovak Department. The language sonority brought together mothers, grandmothers and even fathers of children who diligently prepared for the meeting.

The Consul General of Slovakia in Uzhgorod Marian Mulik expressed his sincere gratitude to Maryna Dudash, the group leader for the invitation on the holiday and shared with his impressions and emotions about everything he saw. Therefore, he promised to attend every event which is directed on the study, promotion and support of the Slovak culture in Transcarpathia. At the same time, Mr. Mulik congratulated all the present mothers and expressed his sincere gratitude for the education of such a talented young people.
