Last night at the customs control at the checkpoint "Tisa" a citizen of Ukraine was going to enter the country.
Our "countryman" had the aim to cross the border driving a "Mercedes" van of foreign registration, followed by its customs clearance on the territory of Ukraine. To carry out the necessary procedures the citizen provided his documents, in which the cost of the vehicle, 3000 euros, was indicated. But the border guard got suspicions about the veracity of data in the accompanying documents, and after a "short meeting" border and customs officers decided to conduct an inspection of the minivan.
During the inspection of the vehicle, among other documents in his hand luggage there was found a hidden from the border and customs control Hungarian cargo export declaration according to which the value of the car was 4300 euros.
The van has been seized and estimated it at 60,000 hryvnia, the press service of Tchop border detachment informs.
