International Trade Club meets in Uzhgorod

The International Trade Club stated on Thursday, May 10. The economic potential of Transcarpathia presents investors from more than ten countries. The Head of the Region Alexandr Ledyda welcomed guests – informs the press center of RSA.

The International Trade Club was created nearly 20 years ago. Its representatives work in forty international organizations which officially registered in Ukraine:

- We are interested in Transcarpathia advertisements, because your region attracts investors, in particular for favorable location. Thanks to the region’s potential, the local governments and our representatives efforts, several enterprises with foreign investment have already started their work in Transcarpathia during the last five years, - said in his opening speech the President of the International Trade Club, the Minister-Counselor of the Poland Embassy in Ukraine Andzhei Grabovski.

More than 900 enterprises with foreign direct investment from about fifty countries are working today in Transcarpathia. The head of the region Alexandr Ledyda emphasized that the region is always open to investors.

- Many years of experience demonstrated that everyone willing to invest in Transcarpathian region is welcomed. I can assure that the regional authorities go towards all the investor’s requests by helping to solve any problems that prevent doing business.

The Club meeting will lasts for two days. The program includes the investment projects presentation in Transcarpathia, bilateral meetings with business circles representatives of the region, visiting powerful enterprises with foreign investment.
