Another group of illegal immigrants from Africa were detained for an attempt to illegally cross the state border on the Chop border squad territory yesterday.
Taking into account the proactive information about the staying near the border the people with African appearance, it was decided immediately to make a detention of ‘unknown’ on the state border outskirts by border guards. The group of five illegal migrants, including 3 men and 2 women were arrested by ‘Uzhgorod’ border guards department in cooperation with the Uzhgorod District Police representatives for a half an hour. All detainees turned out to be Somalia citizens.
As a result of administrative legal proceedings and operative verification measures, it was found out that Somalia citizens were going to Slovakia, but they choose the illegal way of crossing the state border, that is without the passport documents and bypassing the checkpoint.
The court will determine by its decision their responsibility before the law and their further destiny, – informs the Chop border guards squad press center.
