Since yesterday the law "On Amendments to Article 22.1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Railway Transport " came into force, which increases the liability of carriers engaged into international passengers' transportation. Following the publication of its text in the newspaper "Holos Ukrainy" the became enforceable, reports UNIAN .
Under the new rules, the carrier must check the passenger's document that identifies the person, and in case of refusal to provide such a document, may refuse to provide transportation services to the passenger.
