Eggs in decoupage, beads and clay (PHOTOS)

Right now in Uzhgorod in the People's House ‘Prosvita’ a master class in decorating Easter eggs is in progress. Traditional and modern techniques are taught to everybody by craftsmen of the region.
Eggs must be first blown out, washed and dried - they last longer like this. Little holes are glued so that paint can’t get inside. Kids especially like the wax technique, mothers and grandmothers are ‘glued’ to ribbons and beads - they enjoy winding strings on wooden and foam samples, gluing beads. Children learn an easy art of decoupage – they cut a needed element out of the ordinary napkin, attach it to the shell and cover it with a special adhesive. At the next table the eggs are being covered with flower patterns made of clay, when it gets dry, you can paint on it with acrylic paints.
The only trouble is, masters say, for example, with sticks, which are used for putting wax onto the egg. They can’t be found in Uzhgorod, so you have to go to Lvov and buy all the necessary tools there.
