CEC defined a number of single-mandate constituencies

April 9, meeting of the Central Election Commission took place, on which the Commission defined a number of single-mandate constituencies on a regular basis in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Kyev and Sevastopol, the website of the CEC informs.

According to the data of the State register of voters in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol on April 9, 2012 there are 36,253,147 voters, including:
in ARC – 1,541,033, Vinnitsa region – 1,297,161; Volyn region – 784,960, Dnipropetrovsk region – 2,711,940; Donetsk region – 3,412,231; Zhytomyr region – 1,014,402; Transcarpathian region – 960 018, Zaporozhskaya region – 1,472,051; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1,080,123; Kiev region – 1,463,201; Kirovograd region – 791 773, Luhansk region – 1,830,556, Lviv oblast – 1,983,810, Mykolaiv region – 938, 612, Odessa region – 1,833,194; Poltava region – 1,208,757; Rivne region – 871,124, Sumska region – 945,722, Ternopil region – 863,217, Kharkiv region – 2,200,550; Kherson region – 871,906, Khmelnytsky region – 1,059,637; Cherkasy region – 1,051,642; Chernivtsi region – 704,075, Chernihiv region – 893,486, Kiev – 2,159,363; Sevastopol – 308,603.

Estimated average number of voters in single-mandate constituency is 161,125 (determined by dividing the number of voters in single-mandate constituencies – 225).
Thus, the ARC Commission found 10 single-mandate constituencies, in Vinnytsa region, respectively – 8, Volyn – 5, Dnipropetrovsk – 17, Donetsk-21, Zhytomyr – 6, Transcarpathia – 6, Zaporizhia – 9, Ivano-Frankivsk – 7 Kiev – 9, Kirovohrad – 5, Lugansk – 11, Lviv – 12, Nicholaev – 6, Odessa – 11, Poltava – 8, Rivne – 5, Sumy – 6, Ternopol – 5, Kharkov – 14, Kherson – 5, Khmelnytsky – 7, Cherkasy – 7, Chernovtsy – 4, Chernihov – 6, in Kiev – 13, Sevastopol – 2.
