Border guards found 120 packs of cigarettes in a car silencer

A specially equipped hiding place with tobacco products was found yesterday at the border checkpoint ‘Luzhanka’, the press service of Mukachevo border detachment informs. 31-year-old Hungarian tried to hide 120 packs of cigarettes ‘FEST’ in a specially constructed place, which was located on the exhaust pipe. Access to the cigarettes was gained only removing the back cover silencer, which was attached with the help of a specially made screw thread.
The discovered tobacco products, estimated to cost 1200 UAH, and a car, which was estimated at 80,886 UAH were seized.
