8 universities to dispute on sustainable development

Sustainable development is not just a problem of governments, in the national debate on this subject should be involved the authorities and business, non-governmental organizations and the general public. And of course, the academic environment cannot remain aloof from the debate on such an important topic.

Therefore, by the initiative of the European Union Project and United Nations Development Programme ‘Local development-oriented community,’ which has been working for sustainable local development in Ukraine and actively engaging higher education institutions into a decent Ukrainian experience in this field for four years, in April the Days of sustainable development will take place in eight universities: Poltava State Agrarian Academy, Chernihov State Technological University, Agricultural University of Kherson, Kharkov National University, Kharkov National University of Economics, National University ‘Lvov Polytechnic’, Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, Cherkassy University of Technology and Dal East-Ukraine National University.

The program of the event includes public lectures, project presentations, reports of graduates and students.

April 10th, a meeting place - the main building UzhNU, room 201. Start at 14.00.
