The new head of the regional police was presented in Uzhgorod. As expected, it is Roman Stefanyshyn.
The new chief of the police was introduced to the staff and the public by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the regional administration and other law enforcement agencies of the region. Roman Stefanyshyn, taking the floor, promised "to do everything according to the law." The new chief of the police is respected in the community and has not been involved in any scandals.

Stefanyshyn Roman was born om November 29, 1979 in Khust. In 2000, he graduated from the Kyiv Academy of Internal Affairs. He started his service in the Office for Combating Organized Crime of Transcarpathia, where he worked in various positions.
In 2004, he worked in Kyiv, where he was engaged in solving particularly serious offenses, including those related to kidnapping.
In 2007, he was appointed as the head of the department for combating organized groups and international crimes of the OCD of the MIA of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region.
Since July 2012, he has been heading Uzhgorod District Police Department
