New space for Transcarpathian artists is open! (PHOTOS)

At the beginning of February, a space for artists, sculptors, carvers and photographers was opened in Uzhgorod. It is located in the neighborhood of the "Uzhgorod" gallery. From now on, every two weeks, various local artists will be exhibiting their works in one of its halls. At the opening, visitors could admire the watercolor paintings of Vasyl Skakandiy. As to whose works will be exhibited next, it is yet a secret.

However, in the other halls, you can see watercolor and other paintings of other Transcarpathian artists. The organizers see the opening of the salon as an opportunity to promote Transcarpathian art and provide a space where one can come to buy a piece of art that fits their wallet and taste.

The chairman of the Union of Photographers of Transcarpathia Volodymyr Nyorba, who will be curating the exhibitions, told the correspondent of Uzhgorod.in that the art salon plans not only to host regular art exhibitions, but also to collaborate with writers. They plan to hold presentations of books at the "ART PRO". In addition, this year they will arrange a cafe in the first hall of the salon.
