New playgrounds near the SC “Yunist” will open by September 1 (PHOTOS)

On Wednesday, July 31, the Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Ivan Kachur paid a working visit to educational institutions of regional subordination, where a series of renovations is scheduled for this year.

Thus, the deputy head of the region visited the construction of a new gym at the Uzhgorod secondary specialized boarding school with advanced study of certain subjects. By the end of this year, the students will receive a new gym for physical education, and new locker rooms. Next year, the construction of the pool is planned there. 13 million hryvnias are provided to implement the project, of which 7 millions hryvnias are specifically for the gym.

In the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN", works are being performed in two areas. The first, and the main one is the reconstruction of the roof. They plan to complete the works by the autumn-winter period. In addition, they are carrying out maintenance of restrooms and showers. Inside works are scheduled to be completed by August 22.

The end point of the trip was the construction of the summer facilities of the "Yunist" sports complex. Under the decision of the regional council, the building of the sports complex has been assigned to the management of Transcarpathian Regional Office of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

8 tennis courts already operate at the facility. The construction of two playgrounds with artificial turf is at the final stage. In addition, they plan to build three locker rooms and a coach room.   The inauguration of the playgrounds is expected to be held by September 1.

– The area behind the SC "Yunist" today is an important construction site for us. The total planned amount of spending on it is 3,100,000 UAH. We hope that after the opening of the playground, the sport life of the city will come to life. – Ivan Kachur said.
