New Media for cooperation between NGOs of small towns of Ukraine

19 and 20 of October 2013, in Mukachevo, there was a specialized training on "New Media for the purposes and cooperation between NGOs of small towns of Ukraine." The training was organized by the "Internews – Ukraine" and the community of media innovators MediaNext supported by the IF "Renaissance". 

During the two days of training, representatives from several partner NGOs and local press learned how to use the Internet effectively: tools of new (social) media to attract the attention of new audiences to their organizations as well as for modern positioning of organizations in the online space through proper promotion of results of their work.

Mukachevo was selected from among 16 cities that had applied for conducting of the training. Partner cities were Zhmerynka and Lyubotin. In November, the most active participants of the trainings will gather at the "barcamp", the final conference to present the results of their work and discuss the possibility of using new media to strengthen cooperation between their organizations.
